The Court of Appeals has sacked businessmen Jimoh Ibrahim and reinstated
Eyitayo Jegede as the authentic candidate of the PDP in the Ondo State
governorship election coming up on Saturday.
Appeal Court described Justice Okon Abang’s judgment which gave the candidacy to Jimoh as a "violent attitudinal disposition to rule of law."
Justice Saulawa, while giving his verdict, said that Eyitayo Jegede’s appeal was "most meritorious and accordingly allowed."
The court also said that all seven issues are in favour of Jegede. Justice Saulawa however said that he can only set asside Justice Abang’s judgement and can order no more.
