The much talk about Nigerian Student Fashion & Designing Week (NSFDW) successfully had its casting on Saturday 11th May, 2013 in Lekki area of Lagos. As it would be expected of such event, models from different part of the country converged at the venue to show what t hey got to offer.
Over 150 models as far as Anambra, Abia, Ibadan,
Ife and of course within Lagos showed up for the casting. The competition was
fierce but the organisers eventually were able to select some great Male and
Female Models that will be displaying their various talent on the 7th & 8th
June at the University of Lagos where the Nigerian Student Fashion & Design
Week will be taking place.
The casting was conducted by international casting agent
of Mahogany Models and the producer of the show, Mr Mahogany (The Creative
Director), Onome and Marcus of NSFDW. At the end of the casting, 30 female and 18
male models were selected.
It will be worthy to reveal that Isis models will
also be providing some of their international models, also Mr. Unilag and Mr.
Ideal will be modeling on the runway among the high point of the day.
