First it was the case of Larry
Ayuba, the erstwhile Chaplain of the school who, under controversial
circumstances left the school. As the story goes, the chaplain who is known to
be a randy fellow allegedly impregnated about three girls in the school. He was
able to perfect this act because a lot of these girls often came to him for
guidance and counseling which in most cases resulted to “bedmantics”. Some of
the female students also flocked to him to help them out with the strict
disciplinary committee when they had such problems. At the end of the day, the
pregnancy of one of the girl led to a big scandal in the school. In no time, a
lot of people caught wind of the development and the Kaduna-born Larry had to run for cover.
He left the school and went on sabbatical to the United Kingdom where
he is currently studying right now in other to save his face. While we were
about to settle with all that, the allegation came up as regards the Vice
Chancellor of the school, Timothy
Olagbemiro. The VC is accused of having a relationship with a particular
woman who previously ran a canteen in the school. The story is told of how the
VC over the years had become a subject of whispered discussion in the school.
As the story goes, the VC had approached a woman who ran a restaurant
in the school. The VC was said to have allegedly wooed the woman. She
reportedly rebuffed the VC and at the end of the day she was asked to vacate
the school premises. A lot of students know about it but they will never dare
to talk about it openly.
