"Actresses Are the Ones Sexually Harassing Movie Producers"

The sad issue of sexual harassment in Nollywood is not going away anytime soon. In a recent chat, popular actress, Rita Edochie gave a new insight into the dirty game.

"Sex before role in the industry? As a person, I have never been harassed by anyone, be it executive producer or producer in order to give me role. But let me tell you the truth, they don’t harass them, the girls are the people that harass, quote me anywhere.

"Do you know one funny thing that is happening now? Ladies in Asaba pay producers for them to appear in movies, it is happening right now in Asaba.

"They furnish the producer’s house, buy cars for them just for them to appear and show face in a movie. But I don’t know whether they want to be carrying drugs or not but it is something that is happening in Asaba. They want to pay for them to be seen in the movies," she reacted

Mrs Adochie further said, "for me, you are paying me for my services. In those days, when we started, I used to drive from Onitsha to Enugu for audition, as a broadcaster. Then, I will just walk straight to the table and register my name and elegantly walk out, the people doing the audition will call me back and give me roles.

"But these days, instead of the girls going to audition, they will be going from one hotel to the other looking for executive producer’s and producer’s rooms and after that, nobody would want to waste his tape and time because even if you give them the role, they will not do well and at the end, they will end up not giving them the role.

"After the producers used those stupid girls, they will still not use them in their movies and they will start going around saying, ‘the producer said if I don’t sleep with him he will not give me role’, they are all liars, they are the ones harassing them because when you refuse to go for auditioning and instead go from one producer’s room to the other, what are you looking for?

"But they will be the ones crying that they were being harassed."

Stop Making Your Wives Pastors –Pastor Bakare Blasts Nigerian Pastors

"The major problem is that some pastors refused to obey what the Bible says. We are expected to seek the kingdom first and then all other things shall be added unto them. But today, some of us seek all other things first before the kingdom of God.”

Pastor Tunde Bakare of the Latter Rain Assembly, Lagos, has condemned the fast growing practice of some pastors, especially in Nigeria, making their wives automatic pastors, for selfish reasons.

Reacting to the 'wrong' trend recent, the popular preacher said:
“On the issue of pastors making their wives automatic pastors, [it] is wrong. In fact, I observed that such things are common in our churches today. Even when a pastor’s wife is called, she has to go through the right process, the Bible College in order to acquire the necessary knowledge to operate successfully.

"Bible colleges are not there for fun, it is to train servants of God. There is no shortcut or sentiment. There are other things the pastors’ wives, who are not called, can do to help the church grow, not serve as pastors."

Photos Evidence: Mansion Built For Jonathan's Minister In Abuja

An anti-corruption watchdog group, Anti-Corruption Network, led by former house member Dino Melaye has provided photos of a residence it claimed was built for Nigeria's minister of the Niger Delta ministry, Elder Godsday Orubebe in the Mabushi area of Abuja.

Mr. Dino stated that a construction company Setraco built and delivered the new mansion to Mr. Orubebe in less than six months after the company benefited from contracts to build part of the East-West road in the under-veleoped Niger Delta region.

The photos taken by the group shows a mansion located on Minister's Hill area, Mabushi Abuja. Dino revealed that his group's office was burgled by unknown person after it revealed that Mr. Orubebe was involved in other scams totalling N29 billion in ficticious contracts.

It would be recalled that President Goodluck Jonathan has ordered the re-assignment of this same minister to the Ministry of Power, that is dire need of a well grounded technocrat.

LADIES: WHY YOU MUST STOP WEARING TIGHT PANTIES

For women, it is almost a must to wear panties. While some go for loose panties, a large number go for tight-fitting ones just to give a sex appeal!

If only they knew that tight undergarments pose a danger to one’s health. Some studies have shown that tight briefs in particular are actually harmful to the human body. Tight panties? Dangerous to health. How?
First, tight briefs disrupt the lymphatic system, which removes wastes and toxins from the entire body, and causes wastes and toxins not to be properly removed from the body. This is dangerous!

A potential con of wearing tight underwear, especially for women, is the increased likelihood of developing yeast infection or urinary tract infection. How does this come about? Just wear tight panties and you will discover that your vagina does not breathe well. So, it is better to choose a size that follows your body’s contours perfectly, but not tight.

To ensure the health of the genitals, doctors typically recommend wearing breathable, somewhat loose undergarments that absorb moisture well.

Tight panties are less than ideal for sweat-inducing activities such as exercising or hiking. In addition to fostering an unpleasant odour, trapping sweat near your skin increases your risk of yeast infections and blistering along the pant seams.

When riding on a stationary bike or sitting on a weight bench, for example, it becomes difficult and risky when your panties glides off the surface designated for sitting. Even structures not intended for athletics, such as a plastic subway seat or a smooth park bench, become potential hazard against the friction-lacking texture of tight undergarments.

The other problem associated with women wearing tight panties is the irritating effect of the tight material against the skin. When a woman walks around all day wearing tight panties, the material rubs against the urethra and outer vaginal area creating areas of irritation and even small tears. These irritated areas can also be set-ups for infection. This can be a particular problem for women who are prone to vaginal or urinary tract infections.

According to health.com vaginal and urinary tract infections are not the only problem associated with wearing the wrong size of pants, they can irritate hemorrhoids and even cause anal lacerations. Even more risky is wearing it in hot weather. Sweating combined with the close contact of the material against the skin, creates the perfect environment for a vaginal yeast infection.

After removing your undergarments, do you observe red marks? If so, chances are, your undergarments are too tight for you, and really should be changed. Dump them out like last year’s new clothes, and find undergarments, which will hug you, and fit on properly instead of giving a tightening effect.

The less they are worn the better, but if you cannot wean them completely from your underwear drawer, at least wear them in moderation, bearing in mind that a urinary tract or yeast infection is not very sexy.

Nollywood actress and Nigeria’s newest singer Tonto Dikeh is back in the news and this time it is not about her tattoo, music or karma, it’s about her first sex experience. But is this a true confession?

Tonto Dikeh shocked many fans and followers on twitter when she tweeted that she was deflowered by popular music producer, Don Jazzy. She tweeted:
"I got disvirgined by @DONJAZZY. I think this a lil bit Too Much info."

However, Don jazzy wasted no time in responding to her comment, but he simply made a joke of it, ‘lol me dat im still a V,’ (‘V’ meaning Virgin).

As would be expected, fans pounced on the tweets, leaving surprised comments – some took it to be a call for attention, others laughed it off, but those who believed her said she should kept it secret.

RMD`s Wife Has Butterfly Tattoo On Her Brèast (PHOTO)

Ever since Jumobi tied the knots with Richard Mofe-Damijo in December 2000, she has rarely been seen at public functions.

And this is despite the fact she was a star presenter with Africa Independent Television (AIT), before her marriage.
The 40-year-old was spotted at Agatha Amata’s birthday over the weekend, and what became the talking point, was the butterfly tatto on her right breast. It cannot be ascertained at this point, if the mother of two, had it before she was got married to the current Delta State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, or she got it done recently.

However, the former Lunch Break anchor, was looking really good at the party.

“Brush Up Your Spellings” -Wizkid Insults Tonto Dikeh

Wizkid on Tuesday, November 6 expressed his displeasure at Tonto’s spelling game. ‘I get mad when a chick doesn’t type right…wtf is succezz?!‘ , a somewhat infuriated @Wizkidayo tweeted.

Any ardent follower of Tonto Dike on the social network know the controversial actress replaces her ‘S’s with ‘Z’s. Here profile reads; Who eva said Succezz waz a slow procezz waz mos defntly not talking abt Mii/Businez tycoon/A petro/chemical engr /IAMNollywood *#IAMPOKO# Tlovethyself#I luv TerryG.

UNILAG Babe Lands In Hospital Because of Sex Fight With Her Facebook Friend

A 21-year-old student of the University of Lagos, Akabugu Nkiruka, has been hospitalised, after she was allegedly pushed down from the third floor of a building in Lagos, following a disagreement with a man she met on the social network, Facebook.

The situation was so bad as she was said to have sustained multiple injuries, including a pelvis fracture, and was undergoing surgery at the General Hospital, Marina, Lagos, on Tuesday.

Nkiruka, a Linguistics student of the University of Lagos, told NAN on her hospital bed that she met the young man through the social media, barely a week before their November 1 date with landed her in a hospital bed.

She said the 26-year-old man (name withheld) last Wednesday invited her to a night club in Apapa from where they ended up in his family home at 1004 Estate, Victoria Island, Lagos.

She noted that the young man had earlier talked about sex on the phone prior to the outing but she told him she was menstruating. Nkiruka said on getting to the house, the man tore her dress and tried to rape her.

According to Nkiruka, the man thereafter pushed her down from the third floor of the building because she refused to have sex with him.

When contacted, the man’s mother, who was at home on the night of the incident, however, told NAN that she was not aware of what happened. She said she slept around 10pm, while the disagreement between the couple started much later.

The mother, who pleaded anonymity, said she paid part of the hospital bill immediately after Nkiruka was admitted, and even tried to transfer her to a private hospital. “I took her as our own daughter and so, I can do anything that will make her recover quickly," the man's mother added.

However, the mother claimed her preliminary inquiry indicated that Nkiruka was not pushed by her son as alleged, but that she jumped on her own in the ensuing scuffle.

Tragedy: PhD Holder Lived, Died On Refuse Dump In Lagos

It is indeed tragic that such could happen in this country. What exactly happened to Dr. Olawunmi Thorpe, an Ogun State indigene, who died a homeless man, may never be known.

To passersby and residents, who saw Thorpe everyday in the rubbish dump beside the rail line at Fagba Bus Stop in Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area of Lagos State, he was a deranged man. But what many people did not know was that...

Thorpe had a Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Mass Communication and a PhD in English Language. All these information came to light when the Punch got information that the “mad man” who spoke impeccable English had died about 5pm Wednesday last week.

It took two ‘good Samaritans’, Mr. Larry Happiday and Mr. Dele Olawale, who had interest in Thorpe’s case before he died, to ensure that his body did not rot on the same rubbish dump he used as home.

When the two men were asked how they knew Thorpe and their efforts at helping him before he died, Happiday said he first met the deceased about a year ago.

He said, “I began noticing him around Fagba about a year ago because I live around Fagba. One day in March, he approached me and I thought he was going to ask for money. But he did not.

“He told me it was his 58th birthday and begged me to buy him a Bible and a book, ‘The Power of Positive Thinking’.

“The first thing that struck me about him was that he wasn’t the average destitute. He spoke good English with good diction.”

Happiday said he became interested in Thorpe’s case and would stop once in a while to check up on him at the spot, adding that he later bought him the book and the Bible.

According to Happiday, he became a sort of friend to Thorpe, stopping by once in a while to give him food and ask about his background.

“He told me he was from a rich family in Abeokuta and that his father was a former Ambassador to Ethiopia. He also said he had his first and second degrees in Mass Communication and PhD in English language. But he did not say which year he got them or from which institution. However, when I stopped by one day, I met Pastor Olawale with him,” Happiday said.

On his part, Mr Olawale explained that he first met Thorpe about four years ago. According to him too, the homeless man always asked him for a Bible.

The pastor explained that he got interested in Thorpe’s case when the man approached him one day while passing through the rail line at Fagba. He said he always asked Thorpe about his family and who could be contacted to take him away from the place.

He said, “I felt the place was not safe and he could still become something great if he got somebody to take care of him. He brought out a jotter containing phone numbers of some of his friends and relatives and he gave me that of a man he referred to as his uncle and head of the family – Bode Thorpe.

“I wanted to know why nobody had come to his rescue. In one of our conversations, he told me he was once a journalist. He said his father later established a community bank and made him the manager.”

According to Olawale, Thorpe told him there was a case of financial impropriety in the bank, resulting in his being jailed. Thorpe was said to have explained that after he left jail, he had a road accident that affected his right leg.

“Since that day, Thorpe said his life took a turn for the worse. He said his family disowned him. I visited him regularly and gave him food when I could. I called the phone numbers of many of the family members he gave me, but most of them did not show any interest in him,” Olawale said.

It was gathered that Thorpe has children and that his mother is a retired army officer.
