Father Kidnaps Son To Get Money For His Girlfriend Through His Church In Lagos

Parading Adebayo and his lover before journalists, the Director, Lagos State Command of the SSS, Mr. Victor Achu, explained that Adebayo had on October 3 reported at the command that his son had been kidnapped.

Achu said: “The command swung into action. Preliminary investigations confirmed the kidnap of the boy by one Kehinde Alonge, who demanded a ransom of N350,000 for his release and directed that the money be paid into a UBA account.

“The account was later discovered to be owned by one Taiwo Faloye. After series of tactical planning, the owner of the account and Kehinde were arrested at Ilesha, Osun State, while trying to withdraw the money.”

A mild drama, however, unfolded following an argument between Adebayo and Kehinde over who brought up the kidnap plan.

While Adebayo claimed Kehinde hatched the plan to get the N200,000 she needed to open a hairdressing saloon, she interrupted, stating that “he is lying. I was in Ilesha when he called me to come to Lagos that some people owed him money.

“He said the only way to collect the money from them was for me to come and take his son away, while he pretends that he had been kidnapped.

“I came to Lagos on October 4. I intended going to the school to pick the boy, but Adebayo advised I picked him from the house. Since the children knew me, I told the boy to follow me to get something outside and entered the next available vehicle to Ilesha, Osun State. His father even gave me N3,000 for transport.

Counter allegation
But Adebayo insisted that his girlfriend needs the money. He said: “My girlfriend said she needed money to open her own hair dressing saloon. Since I was not financially buoyant, I decided to raise money by masterminding my son’s kidnap.

“I am a vulcanizer and business had not been booming. Anyone I approached for money usually declined to assist me. To get money from my church members in particular, I had to mastermind my son’s kidnap.

“He spent nine days at my girlfriend’s house. I regret my action because my son may never forgive me if he is told. I feel ashamed also because his mother has been down with stroke, though we are no longer married.

“I beg to be forgiven. It was the handiwork of the devil.”

The SSS is however insisting that Mr Adebayo and Kehinde would be charged to court.
The suspects, according to Ochu, would be charged to court.

Pastor Sam Adeyemi Pours Out His Heart On National Confab

Sam Adeyemi is the Senior Pastor of Daystar Christian Centre. As one who has passion for the development of Nigeria, he has joined other Nigerians to express his thoughts on the proposed national conference.

Pastor Adeyemi, host of the popular programme - Success Power - which airs on radio and tv stations within and outside the country, says he doubts if the outcome of the conference will see the light of the day.

In a series of tweets, he says the antecedents of the ruling party with previous conferences “raise doubts as to the implementation of the outcomes of this conference, if any.”

He laments the “utter wretchedness” and worsening living conditions being faced by many Nigerians, saying the situation does not necessarily require the convocation of a national conference for it to improve. He therefore accused the ruling class of “governing the nation without conscience.”

The cleric, who notes via his Twitter handle that he has been drawing inspirations from a book entitled “Why Nations Fail: The Origins of Power, Prosperity and Poverty,” says the Federal Government should ensure the “evolving of institutions that will ensure prosperity of the citizenry.”

He says, “Nigeria’s government is taking steps towards organising a national conference now. This gives cause for cheer, but there are questions on my mind. Do we need a national conference to build good roads, schools and hospitals etc?

“Sadly, I have seen utter wretchedness in the living conditions of Nigerians in recent times. Will the Nigerian elite class have enough conscience to create a Nigeria where all citizens can equally prosper? It doesn’t matter whether they are military or civilian, or belong to different political parties. Will this elite class, which has frustrated previous conferences and annulled elections, execute our decisions this time?

“Will the outcomes of this conference, if any, ever become a reality? Is there a way for citizens to shift the balance of power so they have control over the politicians? Or should we encourage the conference to hold and pray that God should hijack the direction somehow?

“Do all constituent parts of Nigeria really want development to happen? Many questions on my mind.”

Adeyemi says it is unfair for a “small elite group” to take charge of political power and use such to control the economy to benefit themselves. He asks political leaders to rule with conscience, adding that the Federal Government should learn a lesson or two from the developmental policies of the United Arab Emirate and England.

Continuing, he notes, “Most countries that have developed did so by evolving inclusive institutions and policies that make prosperity possible for all citizens. So, citizens have control over the elite that control the economy.

“England changed when parliament whittled down the power of the monarchy and created policies to empower citizens to prosper. The Industrial Revolution followed through innovation by citizens. Dubai, which runs a monarchy, has transformed because the elite have a conscience.”

He urges the Nigerian masses to make use of the sanctity of the ballot to kick out inept and bad leaders, and to also make the political class to be in tune with the yearnings of the populace.

Adeyemi asks, “Does the Nigerian populace have the enlightenment and gut to whip the political class into line when the elections come? Is there a way for citizens to shift the balance of power so they have control over the politicians?”

My Husband Wants To Kill Me With Torture ––Governor Chime's Wife Cries Out

This is a classical case of not all that glitters is gold. Ladies really need to understand that getting married to a wealthy man is not all that matters, but a man that true loves you. Below is the current travails of Clara Chime, the wife of the governor of Enugu State. He is crying out for help.

Clara Chime, the First Lady of Enugu State, says Governor Sullivan Chime, has placed her under house arrest, and has cried out for help to human rights bodies to come to her rescue immediately.

In a letter dripping with pain and suffering, Mrs. Chime (pictured above with Governor Chime) disclosed that she married Mr. Chime in Oct. 2008 but revealed that she has not been able to sleep with him for over four years
Describing her desperate situation, she said that even President Goodluck Jonathan and First Lady Patience Jonathan have intervened with her husband without success.
“My father is late, my Mum and few of my siblings are confused and have done all kinds of prayers they know of. 3 of my siblings prefers me dead than to see me leave the Government house. He treats my Mum and my siblings bad,” she wrote.

The Enugu State First Lady said she has been introduced to two psychiatrists whose names she gave as Dr. Onwukwe and Dr. Agumo, who have prescribed “all kinds of drugs that ends up keeping me acute depressed and also drives me into hallucinations.”

The doctors, she noted, are scared of her husband the Governor, to whom nobody can tell the truth.
According to the letter, the Catholic Bishop of Enugu state (Callistus Onaga), and top priests have come to intervene, as have the President and the First Lady of the nation, without success.

Mrs. Chime further complains that Governor Chime has ordered her to leave with her four-year old son whom she conceived before their wedding. However, the governor, according to her, later threatened to disown the boy should she leave with him.

“He has told everyone he can reach that there is no marriage between us that I can leave if I wish to but whenever I plan to leave he instructs them to lock me in. I have told him through Sms that I will leave my son behind and leave alone but still he instructed his securities to lock me inside the house.”

Mrs. Chime further complains she has lost touch with the real world and all that makes her beautiful because of the side effects of the drugs she is taking, stressing that she is under house arrest for committing no crime.

Of the situation in Government House, she said, “He does not take care of me personally, the government gives me allowance to run the house and that's where I save little from to take care of my self, my Mum and few of my siblings. He shut me out of his life years ago; I don't have access to his apartment. The problem is enormous; I don't know where to start to explain from.”

She said that even the security detail in the lodge has resorted to praying for her, while the few that can be bought with money are taking advantage of the situation.

“Police and SS men have been instructed by Gov Sullivan Chime to confine me in a place for a long time now against my wish [but] it is my wish to leave this premises,” she said, begging, “Please assist me to reach to the human rights and say to them to please come hastily and release me.”

Just imagine what a first lady is going through...ladies, be wise!

Dakore Akande on nine- month course again?

Dakore Akande on nine- month course again?
THOSE who sighted her at the just concluded NMA 2013 held over the weekend say that Nollywood actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande may be on another nine-month course.
The mother of one, who recently returned to the screen, might be going off again soon as it appears that she may be expecting her second baby. This speculation is strengthened more by the visible bump noticed on her tummy at the event.

REALLY SAD: Jeta Amata Breaks Up With His Beautiful Wife

This is really sad because I know that popular Nollywood producer Jeta Amata actually waited patiently several years, more than five years, for this lady, Mbong, to get matured before he got married to her.

They met through movie runs and Jeta fell in love with her almost immediately but she was too young then so he agreed to wait for her to get to her mid-twenties before they became husband and wife and their marriage was a sweet one which was blessed with a beautiful 5yrs old daughter.

Sadly, Jeta Amata's people confirm to The Gist Plus on Monday that their marriage have collapsed beyond repairs and they are already living separately heading for divorce. See details below...

Jeta Amata is believed to be very protective of Mbong, always determining where she should go and where she shouldn't go to. He provided her with everything she needed to be comfortable at home, but Mbong is not happy with the arrangement. She wants to be free like other actresses in Nollywood.
They relocated to Los Angeles in the United State of America, few years after their daughter was born, it seems that made matters worse. Mbong was now very far away from Nigeria where she wanted to be free and "enjoy" herself.
Jeta Amata almost made her become a full-time house wife in the US and she refused to take it. She left her husband and returned to Nigeria to act in movies by other producers, something that her husband has never wanted her to engage in.
She's back to the US now but an insider told The Gist Plus that Mbong is living alone as a single lady and "enjoying" her life. On his part, Jeta Amata has accepted to let her go and I hear he has also found himself a beautiful white lady.

Here is what Jeta Amata said about their marriage break up:
"Mbong is an amazing mother, an incredible wife...all the time we were together she would never let any other person cook my food...she was faithful and good to me and gave me the best gift in the world, our beautiful daughter.
"If I didn't cage her so much maybe we would still be together. I stole her youth and didn't let her live her dream so it was better to let her go and find new adventures. She's happy and so am I. Despite the fact that we are no longer together, we are still good friends. She even lives close to me here in LA.
"Things are great between us and I'm happy to see her happy."
It's really sad the way marriages pack up these days.

Peter Okoye Finally Getting Married To Lola Omotayo

After several complains from The Gist Plus and a few other blogs that it is wrong for him to keep making babies with Lola Omotayo without doing the right thing, Peter Okoye, one half of the P'Square duo, has now decided to take yours truly's advise seriously.
Peter Okoye and Lola Omotayo will have their traditional marriage on Sunday November 17th, 2013, at the Arc Events Centre, Lekki, Lagos. I hear their white wedding will follow in 2014.
Popular comedians Gbenga Adeyinka and Helen Paul are the MCs for their traditional wedding. I guess it is safe to say 'better late than never'. Congrats to Peter and Lola!
