Sex Scandal Rocks PELICAN STARS Football Camp

As you read this, all is not well in the camp of one of the top female football clubs in Nigeria, Pelican Stars Football of Calabar. THE GIST PLUS gathered from an authoritative source that the camp of the club is not a united one, as some players have accused some male team officials of sexually abusing some of the female players so as to get them into the team, while those who refuse their sexual advances are confined to the bench without having any opportunity of playing time. We hear that some top female players are angry at the way their coaches and officials sleep with girls who are not good enough or even better than them, just to play them in matches. “You can imagine what we are going through in Pelican Stars. Some of our male officials sleep with girls who are not even good enough to play in the amateur league only to field them in matches, while those of us who are better are pushed aside because we refuse to sleep with them. If they do not stop the rubbish, we are going to report the matter to the authorities where we will name names. For now, I do not want to mention their names but when the time comes, we will tell the world who they are”, the source said. THE GIST PLUS learnt the matter is being handled in a hush-hush tone, but some of the female players have vowed to report the sex scandal to constituted authorities as well as mention names of those involved in this act. THE GIST PLUS will keep you posted.

PASTOR BAKARE! What Are You Doing With An “Old and “Decaying” Man?

Pastor Tunde Bakare, the Senior Pastor of the Latter Rain Assembly and Vice Presidential candidate of Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), seems to have forgotten too easily the statement he made in The Punch Newspaper of Monday, October 2, 2008, on page 8, concerning former Nigerian leaders’ old and decaying lack of ideas to rule Nigeria. If truly he had forgotten, let THE GIST PLUS do him a great favour to remind him of his exact words then in the publication: “Let me tell you the truth by the spirit of God, neither (President Olusegun Obasanjo) OBJ, Atiku (Abubakar), IBB and this tall one, (Muhammadu) Buhari not are part of the new. They are part of the old that is decaying. That old one is passing away. The new is emerging and these ones are not part of that new”, the statement said. So, Pastor Bakare, what are you now doing with an “old” and “decaying” man?

At the last count, five governorship aspirants are jostling to unseat Governor Babatunde Fashola to become the next governor of the Lagos State, come 29 May, 2011. At the recently organized governorship debate by Channels Television, THE GIST PLUS heard how Governor Fashola humiliated Bashorun J. K. Randle, the governorship flag bearer of the Social Democratic Mega Party, (SDMP), in Lagos. As the story was told, at the debate, Randle, a chartered accountant, was alleged to have used the occasion to settle personal scores with Fashola, which led to the governor humiliating him. After that, Randle was never himself again. He basked in the euphoria of the ‘insult’ poured on him by the governor, which many analysts said the SDMP flag bearer deserved. It was said that Randle first attacked Fashola, saying that he has tried to see the governor for over three years now and has not been able to do so, questioning what type of people were allowed to see the governor, if he as important as he is in Lagos, and as a 62-year old man, could not see the governor. While replying Randle, THE GIST PLUS gathered that, Fashola revealed that he knew the case Randle was referring to, saying that he built his house on drainage and it was demolished, adding that for such issues, he had no need to have a meeting with Randle. So pained by Fashola’s revelation, Randle told millions of audience watching at home that he had received the worst insult from the governor and therefore wondered what morals Fashola was leaving behind since he could not respect elders. At the end of the debate, Randle refused to embrace Fashola or shake hand with him as he did to others.

As he revealed that elegant stallion does not know the difference between being a star and a content provider. “We got into equal partnership agreement, and when eventually we commenced the project, she didn’t think it was necessary to share ideas with the person with whom she is going to work with”, he said. The company is registered under the name: Anyaigbo Productions Limited for the “Omenuko” project which is a movie geared towards reviving the Igbo language. They agreed that no cheques should be issued in either party’s name. But when Onyeka Onwenu started receiving cheques in her name, Dickson was said to have challenged her and she was alleged to have got the director arrested. Dickson said, “I have not disclosed this before to anybody. I was in my house on that fateful day, when a letter from the Lagos State Commissioner of Police office was delivered to me, alleging that I was threatening her life. I reported at the police station, and narrated my side of the story. That’s how the project of $100 million went underground”. We further gathered that Governor Ohakim Ikedi released the huge sum of N10million for the project to be carried out the project and it was alleged that Onyeka got the cheque in her name, and how she spent the money is what her partner (Dickson) cannot explain. “I’m sure, Onyeka is still running the project, but I’m waiting till she’s done with it, then, I can take up the issue with her”. It will interest you to know that “Omenuko” is a common story among the Igbo nation.

OMEHIA, SEKIBO Set To Dislodge AMAECHI

Having realized his dream to govern the people of Rivers State, South-South Nigeria in 2007 through the judiciary that sacked Sir Celestine Omehia for not been the legitimate candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), but ruled that the post should go to Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, who won the party's primaries, but was dropped on the eve of voting because of graft allegations. This magazine can reveal that Amaechi, Sekibo and Omehia have renew hostilities the current term of political office holders draw to a close, voters in Rivers State are ecstatic to cast their votes in the forthcoming governorship election; it is either the incumbent governor, Mr. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi wins and remains in power, or Dr. Abiye Sekibo, one time Minister Of Transport takes over from him or Sir Celestine Omehia, who served as the Honourable Commissioner for Education in the state between February 1992 and November 1993, before was declared the winner of the Rivers State gubernatorial election of 2007, held on 14 April, 2007, taking over from Dr. Peter Odili before the court sacked him. Amaechi and Omehia are cousins from Ikwerre, and Sekibo, an Ijaw from Okrika. They have been on the political spotlight since the country returned to democratic governance in 1999, and have loyalists across the state.
But as things is right now, it looks clearly that Omehia has little or nothing to offer in dislodging Amaechi, but after his withdrawal from governorship race under the platform of the PDP and expressed lack of confidence the delegates for the primaries in Rivers State, he quickly termed up with Sekibo in the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) where he had hoped to realized his ambition, a source revealed to this magazine that since Celestine Omehia declared his intention to contest for the Brick House which he was the landlord for five months against his blood cousin under the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), some of his loyalists have concluded plans to abandons him, knowing fully well that the party is not on ground throughout the South-South. This magazine scooped from a dependable source from Omehia camp that he joined APGA in frustration because of Abiye Sekibo whom they said breached the agreement reached between Omehia and the later. According to the source, the duo's initial agreement was that they would endorse Omehia for the race under the platform of ACN, but to the chagrin of Omehia and other supporters, Dr. Sekibo smartly hijacked the ACN and incidentally declared himself the party's gubernatorial candidate for 2011 elections. With this, the real battle could easily be said to be between Amaechi and Sekibo. This two both know each other very well, and are very conscious of the hard work that goes with the office they both crave for, that observers have predicted a very keen contest that would force an unprecedented battle by politicians in the state to decide who eventually win.
THE GIST PLUS have it that while some analysts have predicted an outright victory for Amaechi, who currently controls the state’s politics as the leader of the PDP in the state, and whose men have put up a very impressive showing at the recently concluded primaries for state and National Assembly positions; some, however, say Sekibo as a formidable opponent will give Amaechi a good run for his money. To them, writing off Sekibo, who in a message to Rivers people, said: “We have a huge task ahead to take the broom revolution from door to door to every nook and cranny of Rivers State,” could be detrimental for the governor. They stress that victory could go to the governor or the former minister at the polls. In the countdown to the election, a source averred that a campaign organisations of one of the candidates, has finalised plans for a full media assault against the other candidate as part of the strategy to emerge victorious at the polls. The source added that the move is a strategy to provoke the other camp, in order to create the kind of media war via paid advertorials embarked by the campaign organisations of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar before the Abuja presidential primaries of the PDP. This has just manifested last week when the CAN governorship standard bearer in the forthcoming April 2011 elections in Rivers State, accused the governor of running a government of cultists, though he failed to mention any of the names. Another was few days back which have made people saying Sekibo might have shot himself in the foot by his misguided outbursts whilst fielding questions on a popular radio call-in programme (View Point) on Rhythm 93.7FM on Saturday 5th February, 2011 in Port Harcurt. It was observed that for the major part of the programme meant to be a platform for him to intimate the listeners with his intended blueprint for governing the state, Sekibo unleashed a tirade against Governor Amaechi-led administration in Rivers state, stating that the government has recklessly spent about N1 trillion without any commendable project to show for it. His constant comparing with Dr. Odili’s administration, especially between the years 1999-2003, when he held sway as Secretary to the State Government is evident of a carefully orchestrated plan to rubbish the laudable achievements recorded in the three years of the present government. In addition, Sekibo systematically attempted to cast aspersions on the governor’s personality, accusing him of being arrogant and exhibiting wanton disregard for traditional institutions in the state to instigate the people against the governor and his administration.
The source, which is close to one of the candidates said: “Those who think that there will not be smear campaigns have underrated the political rivalry that has existed between the duos. The situation on ground is almost beyond politics, because it is a pure contest between two top politicians, who have the resources to put up impressive outing, and who know each other very well. But one of the camps has finalised plans to set the ball rolling and kick-start the real campaign.” It would be recalled that Amaechi and Sekibo played key roles in the administration of Dr. Peter Odili. While Amaechi was the Speaker of the Rivers Assembly for eight years, Sekibo first served as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), before he served as a minister under former President Olusegun Obasanjo. Since Amaechi beat three other aspirants to clinch the ticket of the PDP at the Sharks Township Stadium recently, Sekibo on his own defeated the only opponent, Dr. Itekena Micheal Abel-Tariah, an international businessman to secure the Action ACN ticket, the political atmosphere is somewhat enlivened. Observers say that Amaechi, who knows very well that there is a serious battle ahead, has personally apologised “to those who might have been hurt during the primaries”. He has also urged them to work for the party in the interest of all and sundry. His words: “The interest of the party supersedes my interest, and the private interest of individuals. I must apologise to those who are hurt, and reassure them that it is a learning process. As we observe mistakes, they will be corrected in subsequent primaries”. With these, Amaechi’s battle has just begun, and many political watchers in the oil rich state, are patiently waiting to see how Sekibo or Omehia will be able to dislodge Amaechi out of the Brick House in Port Harcourt.

Sex Scandal Rocks Law Union & Rock Insurance Plc

Sex Scandal Rocks Law Union & Rock Insurance Plc - SEGUN ILORI, CHARITY OGWUGWA Fingered
Sex is so sweet but dangerous when it is done with the wrong person. That was exactly the case of two staffers of a major insurance company in Nigeria, Law, Union & Rock Insurance Plc, as they are now trying to convince all those that care to listen that they are actually innocent of the sex scandal that is currently rocking the company. The people involved are allegedly married to different partners but alleged to be having sexual relationships for the past seven years now. As the story goes, Segun Augustine Ilori, the Executive Director (Fin & Admin) of Law Union & Rock Insurance Plc, who is married with children to a wife said to be a banker with First Bank, is alleged to be enjoying about seven years office romance with a married woman, named, Charity Chineye Ogwugwa, who used to head the General Accident department of the insurance company before she was moved to a new department in January, 2011.
THE GIST PLUS has it that Charity got married on the 25th November, 1994 at the marriage registry in Lagos, when she was 29-years old. She has two kids for her husband, Fidelis Ogwugwa, and things seemed to be going on fine with the couple until 2004 when the husband was said to have started suspecting that Charity was having an office romance with one of her bosses, Segun Ilori; as you read this, the husband has filed a case at the High Court of Lagos, seeking for the resolution of the marriage, alleging that Charity has been committing adultery with Segun Ilori, who hails from Ijebu North Local Government in Ogun State, thus making it intolerable for him to live with her. We gathered that upon being confronted by her husband, Charity was alleged to have confessed to having an adulterous and unprotected-cum-an oral sex with Segun Ilori on several occasions since February 2004 to 2010. It was revealed that Charity’s husband had in the past warned the two lovebirds to desist from their sinful and immoral conduct, but they refused vehemently and continued in their amorous relationship. From the court suit, the Executive Director of Law Union & Rock Insurance Plc, is happily married while he has succeeded in ruining the matrimonial home of the petitioner, Fidelis Ogwugwa.
Since the court exparte motion document was pasted at the insurance company’s 14, Hughes Avenue, Yaba, Lagos, many people including staffers of the company have been wondering on what reason whatsoever would a married woman be f--king around with her married Oga in the office in the first instance. Some, as THE GIST PLUS heard, are alleging that the truth to the sex scandal could be that both Segun Ilori and Charity Ogwugwa are a ‘disgrace’ to the marriage institution. Are you saying they should be stoned to death and spat upon? Efforts to get the Managing Director of the insurance company to comment on how the current sex scandal rocking the company and the position of the management in all this, proved abortive. As several calls put across to the MD, was not picked and text message was not responded to. On the part of Segun Ilori, he refused picking all the calls put across to him. When we contacted the alleged adulterous woman, Charity, who we learnt hails from Mbaise in Imo State, she said she is all ready for any scandal resulting from the alleged sex scandal, “the matter is already in Court, I don’t care if the whole paper in Nigeria gets to publish the story. In fact, I want you to know that I’m not bothered by any scandal resulting from my closeness with one of my boss.” THE GIST PLUS can further reveal that petition for a decree of dissolution of marriage between Fidelis and Charity Oggwugwa was instituted on the 23rd of November, 2010. It will interest you to know that some of the allegations against Charity are that she is always in the habit of excusing her self to receive phone calls at odd hours of the day since the year 2003; that was why the husband became suspicious of this development and became watchful and vigilant. Even sometime between December 2003 and February 2004, Charity’s husband found an amorous text message from Segun Ilori to Charity. He called the two office lovers and cautioned them about this misconduct to which both denied vehemently of the absence of any sexual relationship. The burble however burst on the 18th April, 2010 when Charity’s husband sent an Email that could only be shared between lovers to his wife, Charity acknowledged that the mail on the 19th April, 2010. Shortly after that Charity unknowingly forwarded same mail to Segun Ilori and in error, in error Segun in turn forwarded a copy to Charity’s husband. This opened the floodgate of suspicions that led to the discovery of several amorous Email messages between the alleged two lovers. This is just the season-one of the sex scandal rocking Law Union & Rock Insurance Plc.
