Father Kidnaps Son To Get Money For His Girlfriend Through His Church In Lagos

Parading Adebayo and his lover before journalists, the Director, Lagos State Command of the SSS, Mr. Victor Achu, explained that Adebayo had on October 3 reported at the command that his son had been kidnapped.

Achu said: “The command swung into action. Preliminary investigations confirmed the kidnap of the boy by one Kehinde Alonge, who demanded a ransom of N350,000 for his release and directed that the money be paid into a UBA account.

“The account was later discovered to be owned by one Taiwo Faloye. After series of tactical planning, the owner of the account and Kehinde were arrested at Ilesha, Osun State, while trying to withdraw the money.”

A mild drama, however, unfolded following an argument between Adebayo and Kehinde over who brought up the kidnap plan.

While Adebayo claimed Kehinde hatched the plan to get the N200,000 she needed to open a hairdressing saloon, she interrupted, stating that “he is lying. I was in Ilesha when he called me to come to Lagos that some people owed him money.

“He said the only way to collect the money from them was for me to come and take his son away, while he pretends that he had been kidnapped.

“I came to Lagos on October 4. I intended going to the school to pick the boy, but Adebayo advised I picked him from the house. Since the children knew me, I told the boy to follow me to get something outside and entered the next available vehicle to Ilesha, Osun State. His father even gave me N3,000 for transport.

Counter allegation
But Adebayo insisted that his girlfriend needs the money. He said: “My girlfriend said she needed money to open her own hair dressing saloon. Since I was not financially buoyant, I decided to raise money by masterminding my son’s kidnap.

“I am a vulcanizer and business had not been booming. Anyone I approached for money usually declined to assist me. To get money from my church members in particular, I had to mastermind my son’s kidnap.

“He spent nine days at my girlfriend’s house. I regret my action because my son may never forgive me if he is told. I feel ashamed also because his mother has been down with stroke, though we are no longer married.

“I beg to be forgiven. It was the handiwork of the devil.”

The SSS is however insisting that Mr Adebayo and Kehinde would be charged to court.
The suspects, according to Ochu, would be charged to court.

Pastor Sam Adeyemi Pours Out His Heart On National Confab

Sam Adeyemi is the Senior Pastor of Daystar Christian Centre. As one who has passion for the development of Nigeria, he has joined other Nigerians to express his thoughts on the proposed national conference.

Pastor Adeyemi, host of the popular programme - Success Power - which airs on radio and tv stations within and outside the country, says he doubts if the outcome of the conference will see the light of the day.
http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-1sI-LM3TLOQ/Um8_vyInEtI/AAAAAAAAwTQ/4Jhs8z9jY2M/s1600/Pastor+Adeyemi+1.jpg
In a series of tweets, he says the antecedents of the ruling party with previous conferences “raise doubts as to the implementation of the outcomes of this conference, if any.”

He laments the “utter wretchedness” and worsening living conditions being faced by many Nigerians, saying the situation does not necessarily require the convocation of a national conference for it to improve. He therefore accused the ruling class of “governing the nation without conscience.”

The cleric, who notes via his Twitter handle that he has been drawing inspirations from a book entitled “Why Nations Fail: The Origins of Power, Prosperity and Poverty,” says the Federal Government should ensure the “evolving of institutions that will ensure prosperity of the citizenry.”

He says, “Nigeria’s government is taking steps towards organising a national conference now. This gives cause for cheer, but there are questions on my mind. Do we need a national conference to build good roads, schools and hospitals etc?

“Sadly, I have seen utter wretchedness in the living conditions of Nigerians in recent times. Will the Nigerian elite class have enough conscience to create a Nigeria where all citizens can equally prosper? It doesn’t matter whether they are military or civilian, or belong to different political parties. Will this elite class, which has frustrated previous conferences and annulled elections, execute our decisions this time?

“Will the outcomes of this conference, if any, ever become a reality? Is there a way for citizens to shift the balance of power so they have control over the politicians? Or should we encourage the conference to hold and pray that God should hijack the direction somehow?

“Do all constituent parts of Nigeria really want development to happen? Many questions on my mind.”

Adeyemi says it is unfair for a “small elite group” to take charge of political power and use such to control the economy to benefit themselves. He asks political leaders to rule with conscience, adding that the Federal Government should learn a lesson or two from the developmental policies of the United Arab Emirate and England.

Continuing, he notes, “Most countries that have developed did so by evolving inclusive institutions and policies that make prosperity possible for all citizens. So, citizens have control over the elite that control the economy.

“England changed when parliament whittled down the power of the monarchy and created policies to empower citizens to prosper. The Industrial Revolution followed through innovation by citizens. Dubai, which runs a monarchy, has transformed because the elite have a conscience.”

He urges the Nigerian masses to make use of the sanctity of the ballot to kick out inept and bad leaders, and to also make the political class to be in tune with the yearnings of the populace.

Adeyemi asks, “Does the Nigerian populace have the enlightenment and gut to whip the political class into line when the elections come? Is there a way for citizens to shift the balance of power so they have control over the politicians?”

My Husband Wants To Kill Me With Torture ––Governor Chime's Wife Cries Out

This is a classical case of not all that glitters is gold. Ladies really need to understand that getting married to a wealthy man is not all that matters, but a man that true loves you. Below is the current travails of Clara Chime, the wife of the governor of Enugu State. He is crying out for help.

Clara Chime, the First Lady of Enugu State, says Governor Sullivan Chime, has placed her under house arrest, and has cried out for help to human rights bodies to come to her rescue immediately.

In a letter dripping with pain and suffering, Mrs. Chime (pictured above with Governor Chime) disclosed that she married Mr. Chime in Oct. 2008 but revealed that she has not been able to sleep with him for over four years
Describing her desperate situation, she said that even President Goodluck Jonathan and First Lady Patience Jonathan have intervened with her husband without success.
“My father is late, my Mum and few of my siblings are confused and have done all kinds of prayers they know of. 3 of my siblings prefers me dead than to see me leave the Government house. He treats my Mum and my siblings bad,” she wrote.

The Enugu State First Lady said she has been introduced to two psychiatrists whose names she gave as Dr. Onwukwe and Dr. Agumo, who have prescribed “all kinds of drugs that ends up keeping me acute depressed and also drives me into hallucinations.”

The doctors, she noted, are scared of her husband the Governor, to whom nobody can tell the truth.
According to the letter, the Catholic Bishop of Enugu state (Callistus Onaga), and top priests have come to intervene, as have the President and the First Lady of the nation, without success.

Mrs. Chime further complains that Governor Chime has ordered her to leave with her four-year old son whom she conceived before their wedding. However, the governor, according to her, later threatened to disown the boy should she leave with him.

“He has told everyone he can reach that there is no marriage between us that I can leave if I wish to but whenever I plan to leave he instructs them to lock me in. I have told him through Sms that I will leave my son behind and leave alone but still he instructed his securities to lock me inside the house.”

Mrs. Chime further complains she has lost touch with the real world and all that makes her beautiful because of the side effects of the drugs she is taking, stressing that she is under house arrest for committing no crime.

Of the situation in Government House, she said, “He does not take care of me personally, the government gives me allowance to run the house and that's where I save little from to take care of my self, my Mum and few of my siblings. He shut me out of his life years ago; I don't have access to his apartment. The problem is enormous; I don't know where to start to explain from.”

She said that even the security detail in the lodge has resorted to praying for her, while the few that can be bought with money are taking advantage of the situation.

“Police and SS men have been instructed by Gov Sullivan Chime to confine me in a place for a long time now against my wish [but] it is my wish to leave this premises,” she said, begging, “Please assist me to reach to the human rights and say to them to please come hastily and release me.”

Just imagine what a first lady is going through...ladies, be wise!

Dakore Akande on nine- month course again?

Dakore Akande on nine- month course again?
THOSE who sighted her at the just concluded NMA 2013 held over the weekend say that Nollywood actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande may be on another nine-month course.
The mother of one, who recently returned to the screen, might be going off again soon as it appears that she may be expecting her second baby. This speculation is strengthened more by the visible bump noticed on her tummy at the event.

REALLY SAD: Jeta Amata Breaks Up With His Beautiful Wife

This is really sad because I know that popular Nollywood producer Jeta Amata actually waited patiently several years, more than five years, for this lady, Mbong, to get matured before he got married to her.

They met through movie runs and Jeta fell in love with her almost immediately but she was too young then so he agreed to wait for her to get to her mid-twenties before they became husband and wife and their marriage was a sweet one which was blessed with a beautiful 5yrs old daughter.

Sadly, Jeta Amata's people confirm to The Gist Plus on Monday that their marriage have collapsed beyond repairs and they are already living separately heading for divorce. See details below...

Jeta Amata is believed to be very protective of Mbong, always determining where she should go and where she shouldn't go to. He provided her with everything she needed to be comfortable at home, but Mbong is not happy with the arrangement. She wants to be free like other actresses in Nollywood.
They relocated to Los Angeles in the United State of America, few years after their daughter was born, it seems that made matters worse. Mbong was now very far away from Nigeria where she wanted to be free and "enjoy" herself.
Jeta Amata almost made her become a full-time house wife in the US and she refused to take it. She left her husband and returned to Nigeria to act in movies by other producers, something that her husband has never wanted her to engage in.
She's back to the US now but an insider told The Gist Plus that Mbong is living alone as a single lady and "enjoying" her life. On his part, Jeta Amata has accepted to let her go and I hear he has also found himself a beautiful white lady.

Here is what Jeta Amata said about their marriage break up:
"Mbong is an amazing mother, an incredible wife...all the time we were together she would never let any other person cook my food...she was faithful and good to me and gave me the best gift in the world, our beautiful daughter.
"If I didn't cage her so much maybe we would still be together. I stole her youth and didn't let her live her dream so it was better to let her go and find new adventures. She's happy and so am I. Despite the fact that we are no longer together, we are still good friends. She even lives close to me here in LA.
"Things are great between us and I'm happy to see her happy."
It's really sad the way marriages pack up these days.

Peter Okoye Finally Getting Married To Lola Omotayo

After several complains from The Gist Plus and a few other blogs that it is wrong for him to keep making babies with Lola Omotayo without doing the right thing, Peter Okoye, one half of the P'Square duo, has now decided to take yours truly's advise seriously.
Peter Okoye and Lola Omotayo will have their traditional marriage on Sunday November 17th, 2013, at the Arc Events Centre, Lekki, Lagos. I hear their white wedding will follow in 2014.
Popular comedians Gbenga Adeyinka and Helen Paul are the MCs for their traditional wedding. I guess it is safe to say 'better late than never'. Congrats to Peter and Lola!

Global News publishers arrested over libelious story about Tunde Folawiyo and Ifeoma Williams

The publishers of Global News were yesterday arrested in connection with a scandalous story involving Tunde Folawiyo, the business magnate and entrepreneur.
Segun Ogunbunmi of Global News and Kunle Rasheed of Global Excellence were arrested after publishing a story in Global News which alleged that Mr. Folawiyo had been involved in an affair with former beauty queen Ifeoma Williams. (Screen shot of the story above)
Mr. Folawiyo had responded, through his solicitors, demanding a full retraction of the story as well as a public apology. In a letter, Folawiyo’s solicitors gave Mr. Ogunbunmi a maximum of 7 days to issue a satisfactory apology.

The letter, dated 12th July, warned that Mr. Ogunbunmi was liable to face criminal charges based on the defamatory nature of the Global News article. Following Mr. Ogunbunmi’s failure to retract the story, the matter was reported to AIG of Zone 2 as well as Umar Manko, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police in another letter.
The letter stated in part:
"I sincerely urge you to use your good offices to investigate the actions of Mr. Ogunbunmi and his organisation with a view to prosecuting them for criminal libel,"

"I fear that the very fabric of our society will continue to decay if 'journalists' such as this are allowed to publish defamatory statements recklessly and with impunity against well meaning Nigerians."
The arrest of Messrs Ogunbunmi and Rasheed was a direct result of an investigation of criminal libel as investigated by the police. It was also instructive to note that the pair had failed to respond to several invitations by the police and were consequently detained in Zone 2 police headquarters. Mr. Rasheed has since been released while Mr. Ogunbunmi remains in police custody.

Lagos State Government Will Seal Your House If You Display Clothes Outside Indiscriminately

The state Commissioner for Environment, Mr Tunji Bello, yesterday after the monthly sanitation exercise said, the State Government will seal up any building where residents display their clothes outside indiscriminately.

According to him, spreading of washed clothes on fences, frontage of buildings and bridge railings have become the norm in some parts of the state and the practice constitutes a nuisance to the environment. Tough actions would be taken against erring persons. Houses where compound residents also hang their clothes outside will be sealed, Mr Bello concluded.

LAWMA officials have also been directed to pack those clothes as refuse wherever they see them.

My Boyfriend Impregnated Me, My Mother Sold My Baby ––17-Year-Old Girl

Seventeen-year-old Blessing Godspower, on Wednesday narrated how her mother sold her eight-month-old baby. The mother, Onyinyechi Nwabueze, 38, was paraded by the police at the ‘A’ Division of the Plateau State Police Command.

Policemen from the division, led by the Divisional Police Officer, Mr. Victor Dimkpa, a Chief Superintendent of Police, had rescued the baby, named Chiamaka, in Awka, the Anambra State capital.

Blessing, who was staying with her mother at Rukuba Road area of Jos North, was put in the family way by her boyfriend, now no where to be found.

After baby Chiamaka was delivered, Blessing’s mother decided to get rid of the baby. According to her, on July 19, her mother sent her on a phony errand in order to effect the “diabolical” act.

She said, “My mother sent me on an errand, but when I came back I asked for my baby and my mother asked, ‘which baby?’ She feigned ignorance and at that point I started crying and reported the incident to the Police.”

Police Commissioner, Mr. Chris Olakpe said, “After the mother sent her daughter away, she (Nwabueze) stopped a tricycle and took the baby to the first receiver, one Eucharia Anyaegbu. Anyaegbu transferred the baby to the second receiver, Rita Maduako, who finally sold the baby to 53-year-old unmarried woman, Grace Nnadozie.”

Nnadozie, however, told our correspondent that after she applied to an orphanage home for a child without any result for the past two years, she sought Anyaegbu’s help.

She said she gave N500,000 to Anyaegbu for the baby. Anyaegbu gave N350, 000 to Maduako. Maduako was to give N200,000 to the baby’s grandmother.

But Nwabueze denied that she sold the baby. She said her daughter was very wayward, so she decided to give the baby out to somebody else who would take proper care of her.

She said, “How can I sell my granddaughter. My daughter is not capable of taking care of the baby and I decided to give her to somebody who will take proper care of her.”

Mrs Nwabueze however confessed that she lost her husband in 2007 and since then, she and the six children she had with him, had been finding things difficult.

Davido's Girlfriend Goes Total Nude; Reveals their Bedroom Act

Davido just returned from Kenya and one of the girl he "enjoyed" while there has been spilling the beans with regards to what they did in the bedroom. Below is what the bad girl said on their sexual experience:

Her name is Pendo. Talking about Davido's thing, she said "He' is big in LENGTH and WIDTH".

So what is all this wahala about Davido blocking you off of his facebook?
Pendo: If people had done even a little research, they would know that Davido does not even have a facebook account. I NEVER said I was in touch with him through Facebook. I got in touch with him through a good friend of his *redacted* and that's where everything started. He did the intro.

So, seriously, did you sleep with Davido?
Pendo: Errrrrrrrrrrm (laughs cheekily)

So why did you do this? Do you do this for money?
Pendo: (Laughs) No, I didn't get money from him. I didn't WANT money from him. I did it simply cuz I find him hot and he is pretty legit in the music industry in Africa. Yeah, I am attracted by his talent, his fame, his power, but honestly, who isn't? And people are talking so much because a lot of women wanted to be in my shoes, but were not. I'm not afraid to go after what I want. That's just me. And I am unapologetic for it. I am content that I got what I wanted -which was to know him- and I guess it just naturally progressed from there...

So was this a one time thing then?
Pendo: No, I would do it again. Gladly. I don't regret it at all.

Of course you know now I am gonna ask about the "D"... choose your own words to describe it.
Pendo: He was perfect.

Nooooooooo, more than that. DESCRIPTION.
Pendo: (Laughing) Ok, ok. Errrrrrrrrrrm, he is much better than your "average Kenyan". He is big. Both length and width. (Giggles) And best part is he REALLY knows what he is working with.

Haha, so you loved ALL OF HIM?
Pendo: (Giggles) Ha, you won't let this go will you. Haha, no seriously though, he has CRAZY moves, he kept it fresh for a couple hours. I am impressed. Definitely the best...(hesitates) Ok maybe not the best I ever had, but he is up there.

So was this a one night stand or will you be seeing him again?
Pendo: Davido is not only a good lover but a gentleman. Not only did he not publicise the affair, but he left me with some personal mementos to remember him. I don't think a one night stand does that. Plus there is still communication going on. I'm not saying we are dating, but we are definitely still talking. He did not "hit it and quit it".

DISGACE INSURANCE BABES MARRIAGE ENDS OVER ADULTERY

- Plus How She Was Doing It With Her Boss

When a Lagos-based businessman, Mr. Fidelis Ogwugwa, lawfully married his wife on November 25, 1994, it was with high hope of a blissful union with her power drunk ex-insurance wife, Charity. But today, that dreams has been shattered by his wife who thought that getting to the top is by having an office romance with one of her boss.

As you read this, we can authoritatively tell you that a Delta State High Court, Kwale, has dissolved the 19-year-old marriage of a Lagos businessman, Mr Fidelis Ogwugwa that produced two children, a boy and a girl on the ground that his wife, Charity, engaged in amorous affairs with the ex-Executive Director of Law Union and Rock Insurance Plc, Mr Olusegun Ilori. Mr. Ilori was at the time of filing the divorce petition Executive Director of Law Union, while Charity was Project Manager before they were unceremoniously removed from the insurance company.

The GistPlus has it that the court in its judgment also ordered Ilori and Charity, to jointly pay N500,000 damages for the trauma and trespass, they caused the easy-going Mr. Ogwugwa and particularly for the irresponsible acts of Ilori in ruining the matrimonial home of Mr. Ogwugwa. It will interest you to know that the divorce petition was initially filed before a Lagos State High Court, before it was re-filed before a Delta State High Court, Kwale, when the petition was struck out by Justice Dawodu Williams.

Our investigation has it that what led to collapse of this union contracted in 1994, started sometime in the year 2003, when the Lagos businessman’s wife, Charity started excusing herself to receiving phone calls at odd hours of the day therefore, the husband became suspicious. Between December 2003 and February 2004, the hard-working husband found an amorous text from Segun Ilori to his wife, he summoned the courage by calling both of them and cautioned them about the misconduct to which both vehemently denied any sexual relationship.

Just as it is written in the Holy book, that every sin shall one day come to the open, weeks later after cautioning the adulterous ex-insurance staff, on April 18, 2010, Mr. Ogwugwa sent an email that could only be shared between two lovers to his wife, she wasted no time to acknowledged the mail on April 19, 2010, shortly after, she forwarded same mail to Mr. Ilori and in error forwarded a copy back to the husband. This opened floodgate of suspicion that led to the discovery of several amorous email messages between the two insurance office lovers. Upon being confronted by her husband, Charity confessed to having an adulterous and unprotected oral sex with her boss in the office on several other occasions.

Consequently, Mr. Ogwugwa sought the dissolution of the marriage on the ground that the marriage had broken down and the custody of the two children produced by the marriage and N20 million as special and general damages for the trauma, tresspass and irresponsibility of Mr. Ilori, the party cited in the divorce petition as the person responsible for the collapse of the marriage. In her judgment, the presiding judge, Justice Jahegho Williams, said: “I have carefully considered this petition. They are not contradicted or controverted and as such, assumed to be correct. This court, therefore, has no option in the absence of any other fact militating against the petition, has been proved as required by law. I, therefore, dissolve the said marriage of November 25, 1994. Further, I give custody of the children to the petitioner (the husband). “I also award the sum of N500,000 against Charity and Olasegun Ilori, jointly as special and general damages for the trauma and tresspass of them particularly for the irresponsible acts of Segun Ilori in ruining the matrimonial home of the petitioner.”

When we visited the Yaba office of Law Union and Rock Insurance Plc, we found out that the insurance company has since relieved Mr. Ilori and Charity of their jobs. The adulterous woman who is a member of Lazarus Group at St. Dominic Catholic Church, Yaba, Lagos, a graduate of the University of Benin have since upon her sack from Law Union registered a company called Desmond Richard Ltd, where she is the MD and Chief Executive Officer. Before her employment at Law Union, Charity has previously worked with NEM Insurance Plc as Insurance Underwriter. Also a Chairperson of the Accident Offices Committee, Nigerian Insurers Association, while Mr. Ilori is now heading Efficient Accounts Limited located in Ikeja area of Lagos as the Principal Consultant/Chief Client Officer.

Movie Marketers Want To "Do Me" Before Marketing My Movie ––Actress Bisi Ibidapo

Whenever the name Bisi Ibidapo-Obe is mentioned, one just have to remember her love-child drama with Hon Dino Melaye, who she claimed impregnated her and, as such, the father of her baby.

Below is what she said about Dino Melaye's current place in her life and her encounter with notorious men in the movie marketing sector who want to "shop her thing" before helping her:

Did you ever consider abortion as an option then?
Never! I rebuke that in Jesus name. This is what I have craved for. This is what many rich men and women cannot afford to buy with money and God now blessed me with such gift. It never crossed my mind because I considered her (the baby) a gift from God. Why should I abort the baby? You needed to see me then. I flaunted the pregnancy anywhere and everywhere. Although attempts were made by some people to get it terminated but the God that I worship did not allow this to happen.

Who are those people?
I wouldn’t want to talk about them. But I was attacked physically and spiritually. But thank God as He proved Himself to them.

Right now the baby is here, what is the relationship between you and Dino Melaye?
Relationship? Seriously, I wouldn’t want to talk about it. What is more important is that the baby is alive and I pray to God to give me long life to take good care of her. As I said earlier, she is a gift from God.

Given your experience with Dino Melaye, do you still believe in love?
Why not? The fact that a man breaks your heart does not mean that you shouldn’t pick up the pieces and move on with your life. It won’t stop me from giving my heart to another man. I only need to be careful with the kind of man that I will open my heart to.

Did you experience the issue of sexual harassment while growing in the industry?
Sexual harassment is not peculiar to our industry alone, we have it everywhere. But I will tell you that I never experienced such during my training with the Odunfa caucus. We have thorough professionals in that caucus who have no time for such frivolities. Don’t get me wrong; I am not saying they don’t ‘toast’ ladies, but it is left for you to accept or not. They will never force you or consider it before giving you roles. I get my roles on merit not by sleeping around with producers.
But I experience this with some movie marketers who insisted that they must sleep with me before giving me money for production. But I called their bluff!

Gov. Rochas Okorochas Fires His Pretty Girl Friend, Sylvanus Nkiru

The governor of Imo State, Rochas Ewelle Okorocha has finally sacked Nollywood actress, Nkiru Sylvanus from his cabinet. The light-skinned 'cry cry' actress was sacked by the governor yesterday at the state executive council meeting held in the state capital.

Nkiru wasn't the only sacked aide of the governor as all others too were removed from office, including the state commissioners.

Nkiru served as a Special Assistant to the governor. She was first given the mandate to oversee matters concerning Imo indegenes in Lagos State before her redeployment to Owerri, which is the state capital.

Her appointment raised issues as some people speculated that she got the job because she gives the governor a 'special service'. The actress is not from Imo State but Abia, as we gathered.
