As at the time of going to the press, no one really knows what exactly happened. A bus passing by had to stop to help the only three survivors of the accident as the rest died on the spot. The survivors, who are still fighting for their lives, are not in good shape to talk yet.
The rate Nigerians are dying through road accidents is becoming very alarming. Does it mean that the people in the government aren’t watching the news or reading the papers? Why are Nigerian media not making this issue priority – instead of publishing about million dollar weddings and parties by fat cow politicians?
