Two Arik Air Female Staff Arrested With Cocaine In UK

Too many people have had cause to complain of one negative incident or the other on Arik Air flights, and it seems those complaints are not mere noise-making after all.

As you read this, two ladies, crew members of Arik Air are in the custody of the United Kingdom Border Force as they were arrested for being in possession of large quantity of cocaine.

“It is estimated that the cocaine, if cut and sold on the UK streets, could have had a potential street value of around £600,000."

A statement by the Head of Press and Public Affairs Section of British High Commission, Rob Fitzpatrick, confirmed the ladies' arrest, aged 37 and 32 [names withheld].

Border Force Heathrow Director, Marc Owen, said “Drug trafficking is a serious offence and those convicted face long prison sentences.”

National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has launched investigation and has vowed to deal with any other person(s) found to be connected with the drug deal at the Muritalla Muhammed Airport.
