What Are You Doing With An “Old and “Decaying” Man?
Pastor Tunde Bakare, the Senior Pastor of the Latter Rain Assembly and Vice Presidential candidate of Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), seems to have forgotten too easily the statement he made in The Punch Newspaper of Monday, October 2, 2008, on page 8, concerning former Nigerian leaders’ old and decaying lack of ideas to rule Nigeria. If truly he had forgotten, let THE GIST PLUS do him a great favour to remind him of his exact words then in the publication: “Let me tell you the truth by the spirit of God, neither (President Olusegun Obasanjo) OBJ, Atiku (Abubakar), IBB and this tall one, (Muhammadu) Buhari not are part of the new. They are part of the old that is decaying. That old one is passing away. The new is emerging and these ones are not part of that new”, the statement said. So, Pastor Bakare, what are you now doing with an “old” and “decaying” man?
